HD RECIEVER PROBLEMS - DirecPath Cable Services

I recently started my service with DirecPath July 26th of 2010. The problem started when I was waiting for the tech to install the service. I had was told he would be there around 2:00pm. I took off work for 3 hours to be able to meet with him. After patiently waiting untill 4:00pm, I called DirecPath to hear that he was running late and would not be here untill 5:00pm. I deicde to wait untill 5:30, I call again and am told the tech was still running late and he would not be there untill 7:00pm. I decide to wait even longer, very mad with the service so far. The tech did not show up to my house untill 9:30pm. That is rediculous! I had them set up an HD reciever, a Standard reciever, and an internet Modem. The whole process took 1 hour and 30 minutes. 10 minutes following the installation and the tech left, my HD reciever freezes up and does not work correctly. I contacted the DirecPath customer service and they told me it was only an update that was being run and it was supposed to be finished in 30 minutes. I decide to go to bed and wake up to my tv screen in the exact same frozen mode that it was before. I immediently call DirecPath and they tell me they can send out a tech to fix the problem. I am told however that I will have to wait until that Friday before they can send out someone to fix my problem. I wait until Friday afternoon to come home to a frozen tv yet again. Not only did I not get a confirmation call that it was completed, but I was unable to watch tv again! The tech did not make sure the issue was fixed and just left. I call DirecPath yet again and tell them it was not fixed. I ask to speak to a manager and he tells me it is not a problem and they would send another tech out again. I have to wait until the following Tuesday to get my tv fixed. I wait until I get home from work and I turn my tv on to see it frozen again!!! I call DirecPath and ask to speak to a manager named Jose and he says they would send a tech out AGAIN! I tell him no, I need to replaced now, the system is obviously not working correctly. He tells me the best he can do is schedule a new worker to come and check out my system again. I get into an argument with him and about the service. I ask for the coorporate number and he informs me that he does not have it. I get so angry I call DircTV and tell them what had happend. They decide to troubleshoot the reciever over the phone and they fix it. I am shocked that DirecTv was able to help me in 10 minutes when DirecPath was not. I come home from work to see that my tv is resetting itself now. I call DirecPath AGAIN to tell them I need it to be replaced now since it is still not fixed. The woman advised me that the best they could do was send me a standart reciever. When the HD reciever is having problems. This company does not care about their customers at all and I will be moving from the apartments that force me to use their service exclusively if there is not something done. I have been without TV for 2 weeks, going on 3 weeks, this is rediculous! The customer serive reps are HARD to understand and quite frankly, they do not hardly understand even what I am trying to say!
