I purchased an HDX 16 approximately 12 months ago. I have had nothing but problems with the contact strip which controls the sounds and wireless. It was malfunctioning approximately 6 months after I purchased but they put me through so much to return it. When I did, they told me that I wasted something on the lap top which caused the problem. The defect was a hard ware and not software problem and I'd never spilled anything on my lap top. They did not want replace the faulty device which they had shipped to me. I regret spending over $1,000 dollars on their product. NEVER AGAIN—I am a valued customer with several HP products in my home to which I will begin to replace immediately.
