Try to work at this store, just try. Unless you are a cute teenage girl it is hard to even get a job at this store. Some how I was able to slip past the manager and work there for a while only to find that my boss the manager wanted to only flirt all day with his teenage employees. I put up with his constant verbal harrassment towards me for years. Watching teen after teen quit because they felt uncomfortable with his constant flirtation. Sexual harassment in the work place? Yes I believe so! He also stole his own employees hours by changing the time they already worked in the computer so several of us did not get paid the full amount we worked! Labor Law violation? Big time. I told several people within the company, above him, about what he was doing and nothing happened! Because he has worked for the company all his life he is untouchable and he knows it, he has even said it to us as a threat.in fact threatening our jobs was a weekly routine of his. It got to the point where I could not even answer his questions because he would accuse me of having an attitude when all I did was say 'yes' or 'no'. It became very clear to me that working at Rack Room Shoes I no longer had a right to have a voice. Then out of no where he fired me. After busting my butt for years, always putting up with his belittling harrassment while he flirts with under age girls all day he goes and fires me! So I say to you yes his customer service is horrible but just try working for the man!
