Just wanted to let people know the truth about Wal-Mart. I worked at Wal-Mart for 2 years. The problem with Wal-Mart is the Managers. Some are nice some aren't. My manager for the department I worked in was fired from Food Lion before she came to work at Wal-Mart. She was very abusive to her employees. Another employee and I were the only 2 left after 2 years of putting up with her. I was working in the Bakery. When she came in mad she would get me out on the floor with the customers and cuss me. I just ignored her. The first crew sat down with the store manager to tell her the problems we were having and she didn't care. The only time she got written up was when I worked more hours than she did, which I didn't complain about cause I loved the money. Slowly everyone left to get better jobs with better employers. I am not saying that I didn't enjoy working there because I did, I just didn't get along with my department manager. The department manager is no longer there and as Wal-Mart does the store manager never stays long at any store they switch them from store to store. I still see my old DM at the Wal-Mart she works at now and I do talk to her (we got along outside of work). I enjoyed the other employees.
