I am a field representative for Crescent Processing Company. I cover the south central Ohio and Northeastern Kentucky area. I've been with Crescent going on 3 and a half months. They have never missed a commission payment. I've signed about 25 accounts - including some very respected local businesses and some close family and friends. None of them have had any complaints other than the occasional muttering of the necessary evil that is credit card processing... Providing the convenient payment option to your customers costs money to operate. Crescent is a business, and they are in business to make a profit.
I am aware that there are sales reps out there that aren't very straight shooters. I'm aware that there have been disgruntled merchants because of customer disputes and chargebacks. Don't let that stop you from considering this company to handle your processing - they allow you to bypass paying for expensive equipment, they take care of that equipment with no additional monthly charge for a warrenty, and they get the rates about as low as they can. If a Crescent Representative contacts you, and they present themselves well and are respectful, you owe it to your business to look at their proposal. The choice is yours... But you're an entrepreneur. Don't let others with bad experiences do your talking for you.
