Crescent processing has over 40,000 clients and the vast majority of them have been with Crescent for more than two years. Most of these complaints are due to business owners not knowing how processing works. For example when a companies average ticket size is lets say less than $1,000 dollars and they run a transaction for $5,000 dollars this puts up a red flag. The transaction will be approved, but laws require the funds be held until transaction can be verified as valid. This is due to the Patriot act and preventing funds from transferring into the wrong hands.in the case of complaints about Crescent not paying cancellation fees promised in most cases it is because the cancellation fee is for leased equipment contract cancellation, and Crescent is very clear that they will pay for the processing cancellation fee, but not the equipment lease cancellation, the free equipment covers any expense the client has on the old equipment and the reduction in processing cost still amounts in a net gain for the client. Even if Crescent had 2,000 complaints, that still amounts to a 95% satisfaction rating. I would take that for my business any day.
