Account now is a shisty company-i had switched my direct deposit i recieve from the social sercurity, this was my first deposit on 5-29-10, i had called to see why my money was not on my card, they told me it was on a different card that i had and not activated, i asked if i could have it transfered onto my account what was active, she told me no, and if i did not find the card that was not activated then i would haft to buy a new one for $40.00, the next day i found the unactive card with my desopits on it, i called back to account now with a social sercurity worker (3 wayed the call) tiffany was the rudest person, knowing the s.S. Rep. Was talking with us she was so disrespectful and rude, she then refused to transfer my funds... She would not activate my card were my direct deposits are on, then she told me we dont haft to give you any money at all, then cursed me out, she then ristricted both of my cards, we asked to talk to a supervisor, she said the supervisor did not have time to deal with us, she called me a rude name then hung up on us... I could not belive the way i was treated, these calls to account now cost 2.00 each, til this day ive called 58 times and im so very mad at the way this company treats customers, after about the 23rd call the rick manager tol me to fax papers to them, i faxed way more personal copies of i. D's, letters, bills ect. Then any real credit card company would need.-this is aipre-paid card-with direct dep. They say you get free custemer service, this is not true at all, and free direct deposit is also a big lie, they charge $10.00 a month and your only allowed to get$500.00 a day off your card. The rick manager told me that my funds would be released in 24hrs. And that some one would call me, that never happened at all, i was surpose to move yesterday into my new place, i had no choice to cancel my uhaul truck rental which cost $50.00. I had left at least 30 messages to account now for them to call me back, not one returned call from them, today me and the social sercurity officer 3 wayed a call to metabank (who sponcers account now) they are in south dakota the bank manager was very nice and under standing, she said they needed to release my funds and faxed them to have a manager call me, no call. What are people to do? I need to move, i never thought this account now pre paid card would be a scam, there is way more to this but im just breaking it down so other people dont get ripped off by this shisty company like i did, so i guess they just plan on keeping my social sercurty checks, leaven me broke all month long, i reported this to the better b.B. B yesterday, i cant belive this company, im reporting them to 7 on your side also, how many other people are out there what had this happen to them? This is so wrong what they do to people, social sercurty will most likly give me new checks in a couple of weeks, but what am i to do til then? They are keeping peoples money to recieve intrest i think, they dont try to work problems out with the customers they are causing the problems for people and charging $2.00 a call, and the calls get you noware, so every one beaware about 'account now' there they are very shisty and very rude customer service reps. Like tiffany and like 12 other reps. Were to me, plus if you get this card theres a good chance you'll get straight out ripped off just like me...
