I have been so upset with doing business with Rush Card. They are a rip off company. I had a direct deposit that was sent to my account with my information on it every since Feburary 22 it was from the IRS. The deposit did not have my name on it it had my mothers name on it but my account information.
I tried to use my card several times on the 22 and 23rd of Feburary only to get denied. I contacted the company they advised me that they could not post the deposit to my account because it was not in my name. I advised the agent that this was not the first time I had a deposit that came in to my account without my name and different social sercurity number and they posted it to the account. I was told that they had to send it back to the IRS ok that was fine.
I called back on Feburary 26 I was told that deposit was sent back to the IRS for nearly 3 weeks my mother has been calling to see if thay recieved it back IRS kept telling her NO. I contacted Rush Card Services this morning and spent numerous hours on the phone with them and found out that the rep I spoke with never sent the deposit back to the IRS so the money has been sitting there for three weeks they have been holding it for no reason.
Rush Card never contacted me no letters, no emails or phone calls and since the 22nd of Feburary I have lost lots of money because things got denied on the card. Today March 11th I lost another 100.00 totaling 704.00 for apartment application and fees and sercurity deposits, disconnected cell phone back in Feburary for 127.14 plus 15.00 connection fee, life insurance lapse payment of 89.73.
I think that the company should repay the 704.00 total I lost because their rep did not do his job and in NOWHERE in Rush Cards terms and policies does it state that you can't have a direct deposit sent to your account from someone else.
I spoke with Victor Young at Rush Card he said he was the head supervisor he hung up the phone on me as well as supervisor 5892 when I tried to call back operator 016661 (cherry) told me he he had left the building it was a lie.
I will be seeking a lawsuit against this company ASAP so that they won't rip off any more innocent people.
I am reporting this so that if someone out there is thinking about opening an account with Rush Card DONT DO IT save yourself time and a major headache. I will take every step possible so this won't happen to some else.
