Dear Sir: On September 3 I apply for the Receptionist / Human Resource Assistant Position with your company FPL Food LLC, at the 1964 Old Dunbar Road, West Columbia, South Carolina. When it came time for me to submit my urine sample, the cup was missing a piece and I was then given another in which to perform the test. I perform the task and return my urine specimen to the Collector, VS signed off that she received it. She stated that the last mark of the test wasn’t appearing. I asked what did that mean: she stated that when the last mark of the line doesn’t appear it is a positive reading for Marijuana usage. I expressed that this must be wrong of a faulty test, because I have never use nor have I expose myself to Marijuana. The only thing I can attribute these findings to be the medications I take daily or the test being faulty. And the collector states that my meds would not affect my results. While disputing this matter another collector was asked to verify the findings in which she agrees with the first collector of a positive reading. I was not asked to give another specimen (urine). Being very upset about this and the embarrassment of having to walk into the waiting room where other applicant was waiting. I contacted my Doctor asking to schedule a drug careening because I strongly feel the one I received from your company was invalid of the specimen collector cups were defective. As someone seeking employment this could have an affect on not only myself but others seeking employment at your company as well. I was not given a test by my physician because she said I would have to go back to where the first test was given. I have not heard from any one from your company, I would like to know if and to whom this were submitted, as you are aware I’m seeking jobs, if need to I will seek out other help to help me research your wrongly diagnosed of such as test that can destroy me being hired. I have started seeking help form a labor law attorney.
This is the first letter I wrote, contacting this company.
I have seek help from many individual and agencies to include the State of Georgia (Thurbert E Baker) any response would be appreciate.
