I was on facebook and saw an ad by a Sierra Vista (my hometown) woman that claimed to make a good living using this particular web building "machine" and follow up responses to her looked like it was legitimate.
However, I signed up for the trial (3 day) on Friday afternoon for 2.95. If I had not cancelled within the trial period, I would be charged 139.95. The following morning (Saturday) I checked my bank account and they already charged me 2.95 PLUC 139.95!! I tried calling them on the phone but as with most companies, I got a message to leave a message and they would return my call. They never did! Now it's Sunday and they are closed so that 3 day trial is truly a scam!
I tried to set up the website as they said and I couldn't get into the site. This is terribly wrong as I do not have enough money to just blow it away. If it had worked, it would have been great - but it doesn't. Since it didn't, I called to cancel and as I said, no return call.
I have emailed my bank, Chase, and will call them tomorrow when they are set up again (down for maintenance) and I know they will help; they did before when I had an unauthorized charge.
This is totally wrong and I would encourage legal action.
