I saw this offer online for a home business-income kit online, and was expecting it in the mail after paying just $2.97. The next day I got a call from another company (I wish I'd saved the name) offering me big bucks to just go up to people and hand them business cards of particular individuals so they could make more money in some way, an attractive thing with the downturn in the economy, he noted. I was to authorize a charge of $99 on my credit card to get started. I balked at that, and the salesman wheedled me trying to get me to do it. I ended up hanging up on him. I thought "That must be as a result of that "xyz kit" thing — they must have sold my name and number to other companies immediately." I've been getting lots of 800-number calls from other companies too now, one being something like "webbusinessesfor you" on my caller ID. Then I ws reviewing my checking account info online and saw a charge for $4.37 which I had not authorized to "ICM websites." I got their phone number from my bank, and called them — they were difficult to reach. I finally got through and the man on the end of the phone said that the charge was for a "3-day trial" of their product — I'd thought I was just going to spend $2.97, and so far had gotten nothing for that small amount. I asked him to close my account, which he did, and he gave me a confirmation number. He told me a supervisor could not talk to me as they were "too busy." A day or two later I was processing my March bank statement when this time, (yesterday), I saw a charge from them for $139.95 (!!) on March 11th. I was very surprised and angry. I called and spoke to that same man, who ridiculed me and said "You were to read the fine print. We're not responsible if you don't. No, a supervisor is not available." I told him I was going to fill out a form for an unauthorized charge through my bank and he said nothing. I asked for the name of their website and he told me "internetprofitsuccesssystems.com". I looked it up online and found nothing — it looked like what I did find was info about another company, Complexity, LLC, which hosts a "CopynProfit" website. Apparently they sell a course of some type. They talked about uploading material to a "Communication Service." (It sounds like "Big Brother" to me!) I then put in the words "xyz home income kit" and got the website address for ICM websites, finally. Then I found all of the other reip-off reports about this company, and have not gone farther in investigating on the Internet. I called my bank to send me an "unauthorized use of funds" form, which they did, and which I will fill out soon.
