Called to cancel Direct TV service after 13 years of service because of substantial savings with Brighthouse.
Was told there was a $160 cancellation fee as I replaced a 10 yr. Old defective box in Sep. 2008 and they said there was a 24 mo contract. When I replaced the box I was told no charge as long as I continued service for 1 more year.
Was given a very difficult time and am
Very dissatisfied.
Another reason for change was the constant"searching for satellite system" problem here in Florida.
