On Friday, April 16, I ate at Popeyes on Fulton Street in New York, NY. I had two chicken wings and rice and beans. While I was chewing my rice and beans, I noticed a small piece of metal. I spit it out, and it was a staple! I showed it to the young girl who had served my food. She did not apologize but stated that they do not use staples, and she trashed it.
The point is, what if the staple had cut my mouth, or I could have swallowed it?
