I fell for an Internet add ofering a free Disaster Aid Kit. All I had to pay was postage.
I received a shipping envelope with the following inside: one flashlight, 3 toothbrushes, a 2x3 radio, a mask, a whistle, 2 razors, a "first Aid kit, (which was a few bandages-guaze pads & Q tips) a tin foil blanket, and one apple food bar with a 5 year shelf life.
All of these items could be had for free from promotions give aways.
One month later my credit was charged a total of $124.98, one charge was $95.00 and one was $29.98. I called and was never told what the two charges were for, only that I could have returned the kit.
