No one reading this who may also be a victim of a napleton dealership should consider this any form of encouragement or any kind of suggestion that they should go to a napleton dealership or get others to rip seats, tear headliners or break off those very expensive to repair turn sigbnal stalks. Nor should anyone infer in any way shape or form that this complaint is inteneded to encourage or suggest they or someone they send should merely "shop" the cars and scratch the cars from one end of the line to the other with a nail. Nor, should anyone derive from the complaint i am posting that they should get everyone they know to insert "scam alert" and copy the heading of any craigslist and to also hit the spam report button.
Even though these actions would cost the dealerships more than they can afford, and which would likely get them to change their methods, particularly killing their exposure on craigslist, such actions might not be legal and as such this warning is not designed to foster any such activity. This complaint is solely to share a very bad experience with a napleton dealership.
Napletons park ridge (il) lincoln mercury dealership sold a car with a salvage title. That is illegal. The the secretary of state confirmed this. The managers and owner... Bill napleton, bruno maca, joe parks and benjamin trush still denied that the car had a salvage title. When faced with a lawsuit they knew they would lose, they played the 'we got plenty of lawyers and we can sit on your money for 2-3 years" angle. With that they agreed to apply the money from the illegal sale to a different car. The pricing they offered was cleverly manipulated by benjamin trush and joe parks in such a way that they screwed us out of another $1000. The matter is still with the illinois courts.
