Use — EXTREME& caution using this service...
1) First-off, they sub-contract to other repair facilities, so direct communication is lost, and you don't know what side of town your computer is on or who its being handled by...
2) Took my laptop in for $30 diagnosis, Ended up having to pay $99 to get my computer back...
3) Horrible communication, I was told I would hear something in a day or two, but heard nothing. After 4 days I called Glendale PC Service to see what was going on, and was given another phone number to call to the sub-contractor to get a status report.
4) It took 6 days to get my computer back, when the only thing wrong was a Memmory simm went bad...
5) When I questioned the fee, the Owner would NOT return my calls or messages, Then finally answered when I called on my Wifes phone...
6) Ended up buying my own ram and installing myself...
I'm computer savy, I've built 4 of my own desktop computers. This is my first laptop. When I had Problems with this laptop, I did not have the parts to touble-shoot with, so I took it in for Diagnosis. I guess during the diagnosis process the sub-contractor removed one of the memory simms and the computer worked. So that is considered a repair, and I was charged $99. Even though, All I wanted was a diagnosis. So you can see what to expect, They will find a way to charge you their flat rate fee $99 &PLUS&, for whatever reason... Doesn't sound so Low-Cost-Repair to me...
