This is most definitely a scam. I never use my real full name on anything but a government document.
So, this mostly looks like a target on Homeowners through bought advertising information or public records.
Well, I got a stock check on standard Docugard paper from the Mutual Specialties Inc in Ontario Canada. Plain envelope. $1 canadian stamp. Made out to me from Ternes Procurement Services (which sounds like a buy here pay here car finance place)
Anyway. On the letter that is attached, says I was one of the people that won $250,000 out of $5 million. I received a check for $3980.00. But, I would have to pay $2995.00 for tax purposes to get the rest. But, I have to call before I deposit.
I tried calling. No answer. Any legitimate business would at least have an answering service or a business voicemail. None there.in bellsouth terms "Ring No Answer"
Thats how I knew. Plus. I don't gamble. I dont play lotteries or even bingo. If I put a dollar in the slot in Vegas, I want a coin back.
That is why I say "There is no free lunch"
