I placed an order 1/30/10 for a spray of flowers to be delivered to my Grandfather's wake the following day. Because they were to be delivered on a Sunday, I was slightly taken aback by the $14 delivery charge, but decided that $65 was not an outrageous price to pay for a spray of gladiolas. When I arrived at the wake, at first I assumed that my flowers hadn't been delivered yet. After examining the cards attached to the flowers, I discovered a pink plastic vase that contained gladiolas and carnations with my name on it! It looked like something you would send as a birthday present and was not at all suitable for a wake/funeral. Because my grandfather was being buried in a military cemetery, my vase wasn't even taken to the cemetery because vases were not allowed. I immediately called the customer service line and they apologized profusely and promised to credit my card a 20% refund and re-deliver the flowers to my house, so I could take them to the cemetery myself.
