On 4/26 I ordered furniture from "Luxe Home Interior" for $10,806.03. On the Order paperwork it was written approximate delivery date would be "six to eight weeks".
I patiently waited for my furniture to be delivered for eight weeks. I called the back office at Luxe and began communicating with the owner Brenda Wolfe who indicated that the furniture would be "in any day now". As of September my furniture was still not arrived! Four months! I told the owner Brenda Wolfe that I simply wanted a full refund ASAP and gave her my PO Box to mail it to. She stated a few weeks later that the check had been mailed but returned to her.
Anyways, to make a long story short... Despite numerous phone calls to their offices, trips to the store, and many email correspondence they still have not refunded my money as of Feb 1, which makes it *eleven months* I have been waiting! Today I really became tired of waiting and went into their retail store location and called the police to file a police report against the business. While I was in the store waiting for the police to arrive, the owner son (who is also store manager) actually physically threatened to "beat my ass" and physically tried to use his elbow to intimidate me into leaving his store. I held my ground even though he was physically threatening me, and waited for the police to arrive. The manager did this physical confrontation/threat in front of his two employees, so they witnessed it.
Finally the police arrived and listened to my complaint, and documented the whole incident.
Troubleshooter, can you please call me at 703-859-1984 so I can talk to you about this terrible business? I hope to get my money refunded and also warn people to stay away from this store/franchise.
