I have been a working for a few months on Getafreelancer.com. I have been receiving my payments from jobs I complete from clients all over the world. Its only recently when they suspended my account and froze my funds on allegations of having two accounts.
They asked for a scanned copy of ID which I did and since then they have been silent. Its over a week now and they dont seem to get bothered. I would like to warn anyone who is interested in working at Getafreelancer.com both as a provider to be cautions and move to other similar sites. Be warned since a simple google check of scam and getafreelancer brings a zillion complains. I wonder how all this people can be all wrong whereas the competitors dont have such a big number of scam report.
If GAF as its commonly know is not a scam let the owner who frequents this board answer the why here. I will create a blog to chronicle all this and to assist other people who might get lured to this shit hole scammers website.
