Getafreelancer.com is a fraud-plauged operation. Getafreelancer.com rips off both buyers and sellers alike. First, the site is filled with sham providers, individuals who are completely unable to provide the services promised. These providers set up false bios indicating that they are located in a particular part of the world and that they can provide certain services - when they really are not located where they state and can provide no services whatsoever. They merely steal money from companies like my own and never provide services - all with the blessings of Getafreelancer.com. Worse yet, when we have been able to hire legitimate providers through Getafreelancer, when we put money into escrow to pay these providers, Getafreelancer steals that money itself and does not pay the provider ANYTHING. Getafreelancer.com needs to be investigated by legal authorities. It definitely is a criminal enterprise. The only reputable buyers and sellers that have been associated with the site are leaving in huge numbers because of the ongoing fraud and theft at getafreelancer.com. I will be happy to provide names. I am encouraging people who have been screwed by getafreelancer.com to post their horror stories here.
