Company filled with liars and inept management

Being that I live in a Post Property here in Dallas, I am relegated to one and ONLY one option for cable and that's good ol' Grande.

I don't like being forced to choose something, but in this case had no choice but to live with it.

So on 12/29 $157.00 was charged to my credit card. Yes $157.00 for a single month of TV. That's TV... No internet, no phone, just the HD service they provide with DVR.

So I set up a date for them to install service. They call me 3 days before my scheduled day to say they were going to install it and that my "window" was 8:00AM - 7:00PM... interesting that someone who is paying an ungodly amount per month would be forced to be a prisoner for 11 hours, but again I agreed assuming I wouldn't have to wait more than 4 maybe 5.

So the day of, 4:00 PM and still no service installed. I am furious, so I cancelled my order and demanded a refund which I was told would take just a few days.

A month has now gone by and I still have no refund after speaking to management at least 6 times. Turns out there was a charge from another customer that somehow got mixed up with mine... They ended up refunding both of our orders back to his card.

When they realized what had happened, I received no apology but yet another assurance that I would be refunded in a timely manner.

Last week I was told that the check had still not been issued and that I had only two options. Refunding back to the original card was not an option because for some reason they could only refund my charge to the other gentleman's card. They told me I could either drive one hour to Longview to pick up a cash refund or I could have a check overnighted to me on Thursday. I reluctantly agreed and again, was assured by Lisa that I would have my check on the 29th.

Here we are and after speaking to management yet again the refund has still not been processed. I was told today that it was "in the process of being finalized, " and that I might have a check some time next week.

If you live in an apartment complex owned by Post DO NOT PURCHASE SERVICE FROM GRANDE. Get AxxxTV, or go with another digitally streaming alternative (there are several). Clear WxxxX is a better internet service alternative, faster, cheaper, and much more reliable. No monthly commitment either.
Sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome!
