Wells Fargo continues to make its profits by overcharging customers ridiculous overdraft fees. My teenager's checking account was linked to a savings account and he overdrafted his account several times last month for little things: coffee at Starbucks, gum at the gas station, etc. Each time he used his card, it went through and they slapped on a $35 overdraft fee. Wells Fargo charged $35 each time he overdrafted.instead of just having his card stopped, the bank ended up charging $815 in overdraft fees!!! Then I checked my account today, I deposited my check in the bank from work and they held it, causing my transactions to also be overdrafted. I was also charged $35 in overdraft fees two times, plus $10 for a transfer fee two times from my savings. This cost me $90. Needless to say, I am removing my money from this bank and will never, ever go to them again. I had asked them previously to not connect my son's checking account to the savings account, but they still did.
