I recieved a call from 305-000-7583. Hang up, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION!!! Report it to the Federal Trade Commission.
The recorded message asked if I would like to lower my annual percentage rate on my credit cards. I was instructed to press 1 now if I would like to save. I pressed one and a a couple of seconds later a man came on the line and asked again if I would like to lower my intrest rates. I let him go through the entire speach. He claimed he worked for my financial institution naming the institution. At the end, he asked for my credit card number. I asked him if he really expected me, to give him, my credit card number over the phone. He suddenly hung up. I tried to call the number back but since the number isn't complete on the caller ID it was rejected. I did some research on line and I have found many warnings about this Fraud and Scam. Remember, do not ever give any of your personal information out over the phone. Your bank or financial institution will already have your information and will not ask you for it.
