Mamabargains does have some good deals on great stuff... And I had ordered many things without a hitch. That said, if you have anything out of the ordinary happen, you are not going to be so smiley about the company.
First, they are still getting the bugs out of the website and, understandablyl, there is an occaisional bug they need to work out, but they do so. But I still cannot figure out why I get an estimate on shipping and then when it's time to checkout the amount is slightly higher.
(I consider that to be deceptive, but I don't think it's intentional on their part— they just have a lousy program running).
Next would be if you do have any kind of problem, they are extremely defensive when called on it. It's like dealing with someone who is already pissed off and you just made their day worse. They also don't admit that maybe they goofed; recently they said they had sent emails to all involved in a shipping problem. Many folks mentioned that they never got the email.instead of saying "hmm, maybe we did something wrong on our end" the response was ".. Change your mail to receive from us..". (I never got the email but hat gotten one from their mailing address just days before... Ya guys, you erred on your side).
I still buy stuff from them, but I'm a little less inclined to buy stuff from them.
Also, since I have been visiting their site regularly, please o please Mamabargains, can you rotate stuff through? It seems like you see the same item come back 4 to 5 times a week...
(If i see a Micralite stoller on that site again I think I will scream)
