I just recently bought some stuff from Kid to Kid and when I realized that they buy clothes, I thought that it would be a great idea to bring some of my nicer used clothes by to see what they would give me for them.
Well, not such a good idea after all. They made me leave the clothes there and told me they would call me tomorrow. I wasn't crazy about this, but I did it anyway. No sooner did I get back to work (went on my lunch break) did they call to tell me they were giving me a measley $9.00 (that's with 20% extra for taking store credit). I told her I would be by to pick the stuff up. I had so many really nice things, half of which they rejected, yet as I'm looking at what they have out for sale I can't believe that they accepted some of the crap hanging on their shelves and rejected my nice stuff.
I also see from complaints made by workers that I can't trust them with my stuff because apparently they steal. Doesn't surprise me.
The staff is also very unfriendly.
I guess you live and you learn. Won't go back there again even to buy stuff. I'll stick with Guardian Angel in Fuquay-really nice stuff and great prices. They don't buy stuff, but I'd rather donate me stuff for free to good people than sell it to crooks.
