First of all, the day I moved in, Larry walked through rather quickly... He didnt' take much down on the walk through inspection. We were renting at 1635 Obispo Ave, the heart of the crime in Long Beach. The day I moved in, a neighbor approached me and said her aparment got boken into. I asked Penny at Long Beach Investments and Pennt lied and said that the neighbor was a liar. She insured me the neighborhood is safe. I quickly learned thats all BS, everyday I saw theives looking into parked cars, gun shots were a common noise in the neighborhood, and loud neighbors that get their fights broken up by the cops. I continued living there but the neighborhood got worse.in Sept. 2009 our apartment got broken into. Not to mention Long Beach Police department is not great with following up on their cases. Larry once again did the final walk through inspection with me. He did the inspection in less than 5 minutes. He told me everything was fine. He told me himself that the owners of Long Beach Investments will try to take my deposit and that he didn't like what happened to us, he said he didn't blame us for moving out. The walk through inspection I did with him was clear to me that their was nothing I need to do before moving out. He said everything looked fine. I later recieve only 1/3 of my deposit. They have some explaining to do...
