My family and I have been Wheeling Park District customers and village residents for years. The rate for residents to get in is $9.75 for a whole day. One day, when my family and I went there, they rudely told us that we had to go walk over to one of their other facilities, pay $5 a person to get a sticker, and then come back and show them the sticker. That meant that it would have cost $59 for my entire family to spend a couple hours at best swimming. It would have cost even more after snacks. Plus, it would have taken a really long time (as it normally does) to get the sticker because of an inadequate amount of staff at the facility where we'd have to get the sticker. On top of that, the outdoor pool consistantly has limited seating and is often dirty, as well as many of the other facilities. It's almost like no one knows how to keep things clean. I don't expect it to be absolutely spotless, but I'd like to not sit on a chair that has bird poo and who knows what else on it!
