I leased a 2010 Audi A4. I returned the car THREE days after signing the lease due to flickering interior screens, horrible electrical burning smell, poor radio reception and both headlights going out when the blinker is turned on. The car was returned to Bell Audi, the initial lease location. The manager agreed there was a problem with the car and offered to have me sign a contract for a new lease on another car. Now questioning the Audi brand, which I have no prior history with, I declined and expressed my desire to be released from my contractual obligation. The dealer declined. I contacted an Audi customer advocate for further inquiry on my rights. When the advocate called the dealership, they left the advocate on hold for 20 minutes and then said the manager left for the day. I was there and he was as well! I left the dealership after 8:00 and have contacted them many, many times, called the advocates, who tell me they're waiting for a response from the dealership, who almost never calls them back. It's now eight days that I have no car, nor a loaner (because the dealership said they had none available). I put $3000 down, plus I'm incurring insurance costs to have no vehicle! I contacted DMV, and the car hasn't even been registered in my name.
