Suburban Toyota Volvo, Suburban Collection Troy MANY MISREPRESENTATIONS IN LEASE CONTRACT

Please do not lease a used vehicle from the Suburban Collection, specifically Suburban Volvo. They misrepresented the condition as well as the warranty of the vehicle and as a result the vehicle has been costly to repair as well as dangerous to drive.

I was told that the Audi I leased was in certified condition, and that the warranty was good until 50,000 miles. Turns out the salesperson, Chris Romanik, as well as Used Sales Director, Brian Huck, were untruthful. Since I have an Audi and I leased through a Volvo dealership, I have to take the vehicle to another Suburban dealership across town for warranty maintenance and repairs. Later, when my car was having a serious malfunction, the Audi dealership across town advised that my warranty expired 8 months prior - 6 months into the lease, instead of at 50,000 miles. This is because it is a 4 years OR 50,000 miles, as the other dealership advised me. However, the sales staff at Suburban Volvo did not include the 4 year information. I would have never leased a vehicle for 27 months having the warranty expire in 6 months. I specifically clarified this issue several times when I leased the vehicle, because warranty was a large concern given that Audi repairs are expensive.

The second instance of misrepresentation occurred when the same Suburban Volvo sales staff told me that the tires on the vehicle were stock tires for the Audi. They were not, and they were actually poor quality Sears brand tires, that were cupped and worn from the start of my lease. I have had two flat tires while driving and had to replace all 4 costly tires as well as the brakes within driving 9000 miles. The shoddy tires were also the reason my car was not originally certified pre-owned by the Suburban Audi dealership across town, a startling fact I found out one year into my lease from the service dealership. I had thought it had been certified pre-owned from the start. Of course, when I contacted Suburban Volvo to advise them of the misrepresentation regarding the tires, they denied responsibility, and advised that as a "friendly" gesture they would extend $200 to me. Clearly, this would not make me whole and I refused same. I will be pursuing this matter further.
