On October 15 I ordered from LD Products Item REMANC1823 priced at $ 17.99 or $ 16.19 with the 10% discount provided. This order was documented on Invoice # 1686048A. For Customer # 729580. I recently noted the early signs of fading on my existing color cartridge, so I thought it time to install the LD Products remanufactured cartridge that I had purchased. I installed the new cartridge per normal, however no color was forthcoming when I printed my documents. The areas that should have shown red numbers were blank. I tried changing the colors to pink or blue or green with the same result. I then ' re-installed ' the old cartriidge and did see the faded red ink in the expected locations. The only conclusion I can draw is that I received a faulty cartridge. I next went to the Hewlett Packard website to ensure I had the correct drivers in place on my computer for the printer I was attempting to use. I did. For what its worth, I've noted that the old cartridge and new cartridge seem to be of equal weight, something I would not have expected since the new cartridge should have also contained an ink supply. My question is what action can be taken to get a color cartridge to me ASAP, and what action can be taken about the apparently faulty cartridge I received in October. Can I receive a replacement cartridge to replace the faulty one? I've been an ongoing customer of LD Products, and this is the first time I've encountered what appears to be a faulty cartridge. I am anxious to have the matter addressed and corrected.
