I got illegally switched to Verizon last month by a person called Josh and Dan.
I traced the phone number and called back.

There is a long list of scams from this company originally called Purple Valley but now called Parisi Communications according to COX cable.

April Verizon TBI COM SWITCH
Big Mike called today from 702-473-9502. Said he was from Verizon and as part of the STIMULUS PACKAGE, was changing our phone service. I asked for his employee number and he said 911. He asked me who I thought I was asking him this stuff when he just wanted to speak to the person in charge of phone service. He hung up on me.

Caller stated he was from Verizon _ something. Told me fcc deregulated rates and they will be reducing my rates. Made it sound like it was my company being forced to lower rates. He gave me a confirmation number which was a phrase, then was going to put me through to another operator mumbled real quick that this would be for local, regional, and long distance... At which point I questioned him to be sure what was happening and discovered that he would be switching my phone company (yet keeping verizon's something or other). I asked who he was with and he said Next Generation. Quickly searching the net I do not know who this is, but they were real sly. Guy's name was Josh.

BEWARE: Trying to switch your phone company. This is a company called NEXT GENERATION COMMUNICATIONS, trying to make themselves sound like they are verizon. After I made my last post about it on here, I called verizon and found out that this company buys or rents lines from verizon. They are not verizon. They do not have access to your current phone plan and accessed my information from the yellow pages. Your lines remain verizon and if you need repair this company would have to call verizon to have them come out to repair your lines... So effectively they are a middle man. Quite frankly, any company having to trick you into changing to them is not worth switching to even if they offer lower rates. You can bet their customer service sucks especially after I said no and Josh said, enjoy your higher rates and hung up.
Verizon told me they have a lot of people switching back from this company.
Danial Parisi has now combined his business ethics with TBI COM - He screwed me out of 400 bucks in fee's I had to pay to get back to my orginal provider. I reported them to the Attorney General of Nevada and the local authorities for not running a legal business.

Plus he has cost me money.
