SMC Special Merchandise Corporation
It was my impression and understanding that ONLY through product orders I would be charged anything. SMC used my good nature to gain access to my checking account and take money that was not authorized. Simi Valley California

I requested cancellation of Membership to SMC before the 30 days were up. Which included an emerchantclub website I never worked or accessed. Subsequently I was charged $1500.00 for this membership and request this amount to be refunded.

My understanding the emerchantclub website that was offered to me included the membership of $414.96. Under no circumstances I would of accepted membership for a website if the cost would be $1500.00. When I found out the money was removed from my bank account the statement read "for SMC membership" and not for a website.

Through talking with the business coach that was assigned to me, it was my impression and understanding that only through product orders that I would be charged. I had no idea SMC or emerchant club needed or wanted all this money up front or I would not of gone ahead with this venture.

I expressed to the coach assigned to me that I do not have the money to spend, that I wanted to make money. AND that through only orders I received I will then be charged. Of course this never did happen. SMC just wanted my money.

I was never setup or given any instructions on how to operate anything connected with emerchant club or my own website. I've never accessed any website of my own. Never have taken any orders.

After sending in a cancellation letter with all materials returned per their request, SMC did finally re-imburse me 399.00 minus shipping/handling but not the $1500.00. So I reported them to fraud at my bank and my bank did their investigation and decided I was defrauded and did a return on the $1500.00.

*It's not over, After two years SMC is suing me for that $1500.00. And have taken me to collections. A collection agencey called CPS security
w/only a po box out of San Antonio, Tx. I immediately contacted my bank and they said that they did all they could and that I need to seek legal advice. I have received several calls from this agency. And have no other recourse but report this fraudlent activity to whom it may concern. I would appreciate good, honest, legal assistance so this company does not harrass me and I'm sure others with similar problems with SMC.
