I also should've researched about this company before signing up with them. The sales people offered good rates and money back guaranteed if not satisfied with service. First, the charges for the calls were always inflated, more than what the actual call lasted. Then, when trying to cancel the service, they gave me the running around that I had to bring the balance to zero. I wanted to pay right away and told me that the bill was in process and I had to wait. I called again and they were giving me the run around, so I requested to talk to a Supervisor, which was no help at all. I insisted I wanted to cancel the service and did not want to deal with Union Telecom anymore. He told me that my bank account was going to be debited for the balance left and in 30 minutes service was going to be discontinue. Then, I asked when I was going to get my $39.50 back and he said the company doesn't refund your money instead they will send a CALLING CARD a year from the time service was activated. If I knew I was going to get a CALLING CARD as a refund instead of my money back, I would've never signed up with them. Anyone out there, do not try doing business with them, they will ripp you off. All they say and promise you over the phone are LIES, LIES and more LIES... Pure false advertisement.
