I have been a Direct TV customer for 4 years, paying directly from my checking account, so I would never be late with payments.in April I called the local office and asked if I was under contract to Direct tv, was told no, so I asked to terminate my account to change to Dish Network. Within 3 days, my checking account had a deduction of $411.00 from Direct tv, not knowing this, I had overdrawn my account by almost $200.00. I was on the phone almost everyday for two weeks before I got my $411.00 back. Nothing for the overdrafts, no apology nothing.
What a way to run a business, that purports to provide outstanding customer service. I wish to warn everyone about their tactics.
