This company appears to be a "bait & switch" operation (similar to "86th STREET PHOTOVIDEO")-with whom I had a
similar (bad) experience in August.
I ordered a SONY HVL-F36AM Speedlight/electronic flash for a SONY
A350 DSLR from their internet ad for $125 (payable by credit card.) The order was accepted and an order number assigned (Jan 13). Today (Jan 14), I got a phone call telling me that there was a problem with the order. (Their sales rep (names Sal Allen) told me that the item was an old item and out of stock. I told him to cancel the order! After this, he said that some were on back order and should come in about 4 weeks from now. When I opted to cancel again, he said that they
had a different one in stock that he could let me have for the same price-) (this one was from a company called "DIGITAL CONCEPTS" and fully compatible with my SONY A350 (plus it has
a higher exposure guide number and is
available for immediate shipping.) I ordered the substitute! After I bit for the "switched item", I searched some more and found the same item for $99.99 -with free shipping - on AMAZON.com. I'm going to accept the order - but I'll never buy from these people again!
