I was at the checkout line and handed my $20.60 over to pay for a $10.59 purchase. I was hoping to leave happy with my purchase but instead, I was returned one penny and an afternoon of frustration because my cashier thought I only gave her a $10. I had to dispute my side and the woman handling my case immediately thought I was lying by counting the money in the register. Discrepancies are inevitable when handling money—it's human to make errors. I'm so annoyed.
