Please do not purchase any property or land from Honest Deeds Investment LLC because it is very difficult to receive you deed after final payment.
I am going to share my story with the public.
I was introduced to Honest Deeds Investments LLC by a very close friend in The properties were sold for 2500.00-3500.00 for 5-6 acres. I decided to purchase 6 acres which cost me 3500.00 in 2006. This 3,500.00 does not include the processing fees etc.
My monthly payment was 100.00 for 2 years. I paid off for my land in July after the land was paid in full I noticed I did not receive my Deed in the mail. I decided to call the person in charge of the business, of course, It took me several weeks to get in touch with someone. Finally I received a phone call from the person in charge, at that time I request my deeds for the property which was paid in full. I was told this deed is going to be mailed to me in two weeks. Two weeks have passed and I still did not receive my deed. I decided to call once again and was unsuccessful.
I decided to call the Clert of Court for Ward county Texas, and the information I received was that the property I purchased was still recorded in the name Honest Deeds Investment LLC. I tried several times contacting the company and again my contacts were unsuccesful.
It is now June and I still have not yet received my Deed for the property I have purchased.
I have learned a valued lesson. First do not trust anyone and second purchases long distance are deemed suspicious.
To the public. Please do not purchase any properties/land from Honest Deeds Investment LLC based in Texas.
