My daughter and I attended a seminar in March and received what we believed to be some very informative information and materials that we could actually go home and use. What they didn't tell us would have saved us our $1497.00. If this complaint saves one person from being a victim and wasting their hard earned money, I am grateful. Why is there no cancellation clause? They tell you that you can access tax lien and deed properties in Illinois, you can't, on their website for a week straight it always says, "Sorry, there is no current tax lien or deed information available for Illinois. The tax lien and deed information is updated regularly so please check back often." I checked for a week straight. They tell you, you can get a refund on your $1497.00 if you buy 6 tax liens or deed properties in 30 days, unless you know the business literally like the back of your hand, impossible. And the hotline can't talk you through each transaction, because they sound like they are reading a script. They don't tell you that in order to get the refund of $1497.00: "You must provide us with the documentation of your 6 tax lien or deed purchases totaling $1,497 or more, including for each deed: ". They also refrain from using the word easy, and say, "simple", it’s not. They claim to have taken out the leg work of going down to city hall and being treated badly by the employees. If you want to purchase tax liens and deeds go to city hall. I beg you please save your money don't get swindled like me! I am asking the BBB to intervene and help the consumers, they are not honoring what they say in the seminars through their kits! There is so much more I can repeat that they said in the seminar that is not true when you get home and use their kit. The complaint box does not allow me enough characters to tell all. I am very displeased with the kit and the misinformation from the seminar. Although the seminar was free, the kit I purchased did not provide me with the ability to obtain tax liens or deeds. Save your money!
