I was employed by this company for a start up they were launching. All previous checks paying wages prior to March were from this company.
Was working overtime as a computer programmer which under Fed employment laws must be paid over and above $1800 monthly to be exempt from paying overtime. I was paid $1000 for over 240 hours worked for March which is under min wage instead of over it and obviously not paying the 80 hours in overtime.
Monthly salary paid for March was suppose to be $8000.
I have been harassed by several management entities/owners of this firm past March. Lawyer for firm did, who happens to be an owner of said firm, not want any email exchange to avoid having anything on record. Absolutely refused to discuss overtime claiming that was confidential information where there was no such application of claim or any rational reality to such a claim.
I seem to be punished for stating in Jan that the start up launch would not happen due to lack of management skills applied to problems attempting to be solved and that financial resources did not match technical implementation desired by management.
