Avoid HP= avoid terrible service ever - Pavilion Laptop

I bought this HP pavillion note book April.in August, I noticed the DVD player was not functionning properly. So, I took it to best buy, thsy ship it to HP and this returned after 4 weeks. They stated that everything was fixed. Whgen I checked, I had the same problem, so I decided to call HP directly. After several over the phone, They assigned me A case manager. This CM decided he was going to ship a new DVD hard drive to my home and I will get help over the phone to install it. This happened but it was never right. It will work only when it wants to and the bottom remained shaky. But I decided to stay calm as long as I was getyting my school work done. I graduated dec. 2007 and this Fall I decided to continue my graduate studies. I started using my notebook more and more and this Oct. 2008 just during midterm my Pavillion notebook will turn on with the screen will remain off. Once again I went to Bestbuy. They could not hel me much. While there I decided to call HP on my cell phone, Bad idea, I spent over and hour after being transfered everywhere. Finally, they told me my notebook was under recall and that I will get a free repair. I was to expect a shipping box at my home within 1-2 buissness days and get it back within a week. This also did not happen. I call HP corporate office in Houston TX. Another Case manager with CS# 7500640136. That is all numbers okay. He stated very slowly and clearly that he was "SORRY" that is that was important; sorry. I will have to wait till x-time when the box gets to me and eternity time it will takle to fix. It doesn't mater if asd a busy mother I flunk all my classes and not be able to pay all my scholl loan later. He is all sorry. I even offer to pay the balance for an upgrade, if it is better with no recall, he decline sying they treat everyoneat HP the same and everyone has to wait, there is no speedy solution even if it seems to be a need here. So the way they are trating me now, they will treat you the same, since we are all the same. What a nice way to put that. All I said to him amd to you all, this is the worst experience in my life when it comes to everything I ever bought. I use my own money to buy trouble; Oh well I don't balme HP we all believe they are good. This is the result of choosing you aver all the brands that we have out here, and in America, there is freedom of choice. I choose TROUBLE. An advice to all, make a smarter choice, Its your money.
