Today I went to Walgreen's to take advantage of there Cash Rewards program. Well let me say it was no walk in the park! I shopped for about 30 min. Making sure I was getting the right sizes and brands of items to get the Cash Rewards.
I then go to checkout, well that took 30 min. Everything was rung up at the right prices, I then give them my mf coupons and 1 cash rewards for $1.00 off and a web coupon for walgreens. Well I was then told when you use a cash reward you forfit the next cash reward on the item. Plus the other items I used coupons on, didnt print out the cash rewards at all.
I was not happy! The manager was called over, she seemed like I was trying to steal from them. No all I wanted was the $15.49 in Cash rewards coupons. It only printed out $9.45 worth. Manager was like I don't know what to tell you, I cant make the machine print when it won't. I was ok... But there has to be something you can do? Nope!
So after 30 min I said forget it... Refund the one item and give me back my coupon. Then that put me below the $25.00 I needed to use another coupon I had used, so I was told I needed to spend another $11.00 to save the $5.00 off the coupon... Grrrrrrrrr
So I grab something for $10.00 and a lighter for $1.00. I get a refund of $4.28 and other coupon and left the store.
This was my 2nd time with the cash rewards stuff... NEVER AGAIN!!! Its a RIPOFF!!!
I asked the manager to show me something in writting saying if u use MF Coupons you forfit your Cash Rewards... She couldn't... Because there is NO such policy!!!
