I have been a customer of TMobile for over 5 years and their customer service has declined to the level of non-existence.
Recently I was having some major problems with my cell phone and after 8 calls to their customer service and technical support it still was not working. Everyone I talked with at TMobile didn't seem to have a clue and I got vastly different stories each time I called with the end result being that my phone wasn't working for over 2 days.
In desperation I tried going onto one of their retail stores and that is when the real problems started. After waiting in an empty store for 30 minutes for the clerk to get off the phone talking with his girlfriend about their date I told him that my phone was not working and had not been working for two days and was causing a lot of problems for me. The clerk didn't seem to have a clue as to how to help me and really didn't seem to care in this slightest. I told him that if he couldn't or wouldn't get my phone fixed then I wanted to talk with his store manager or district manager. I also showed the clerk my phone so he could see that clearly it was not working.
At that point the clerk started arguing with me and yelling about how I wasn't grown up enough to be in his store and how he refused to help me and said he was going to call the police to which I told him to go right ahead, I hadn't done anything wrong and I was just trying to get my phone fixed. When I told him that he got really pissed off and threatened to kill me if I didn't leave the store.
When the police showed up this guy was still carrying on like a lunatic and the cop asked me to leave without even caring to hear my side of the situation which I refused until he heard me out. After I explained what had happened we went outside and the cop again asked me to leave which I did.
I called TMobile and told them about their employee threatening to kill me and they took a very non-chalant attitude about the whole thing as if it was no big deal and this happens with them every day. I have filed a report with the police and they arrested the guy who threatened to kill me and when I called TMobile to follow up and find out what they were going to do about this lunatic they told me that they weren't going to do anything at all, they just didn't think their employee had done anything wrong and that he had acted within the guidelines of their company policy.
I don't know about anyone else but I don't consider being threatened with death to be good company policy and for a company to simply blow it off tells me there is something seriously wrong with TMobile. No one at TMobile that I have talked with has shown any interest in working with me to resolve this problem or has even apologized for the way I was treated and the way their employee completely lost control.
I am shopping around for a new cell phone provider and I am looking for a lawyer to deal with TMobile. I would strongly advise everyone to avoid these psychopaths at all costs.
