Never have used tmobile before and always had Verizon wireless. I decided to get my young daughter a cell phone for emergencies and decided to use tmobile because of a particular plan they advertised.
BIG MISTAKE! I went on-line ordered the phone and choose a plan. After inputting all my personal and credit card info I was locked out due to their website having differculties.
I then called a cutomer service rep and ordered. I received a new phone and called customer service to activate as well as receive my new phone number. I spent at least 40 min online trying to get the phone activated with customer service reps from hell. They just couldn't get a new phone and number activated! I went to the tmobile store nearby and asked for their help.
It literally took the very frustrated tmobile rep 35 min to get to someone who would help and get it done! We then tried to set-up the "my favs" that did not appear in the menu. Another call to customer service and 20 min later was told we had to wait 24 hrs. That was not true 24 hrs later. Took another trip to a tmobile store to verify that and was told we were mis-informed. We tried to use the camera on the phone and... NOT WORKING.
When I called tmobile I was informed that it was a technical error and would have to return the phone, however I would have to pay again for a another new phone before they would swap out the bad phone that I had already purchased and that it would take them up to 60 days to credit me back for the BOGUS NON-WORKING phone.
What a joke! Additionally, since the "my favs" also dosen't appear or work on the phone. I have never received such horrendous customer service nor such a pathetic attempt to resolve a problem that stems from their phone and service right out of the box. And I am a first time customer!!! To Verizon I go... Don't waste your time with a company that just dosen't care!!!
