I purchased some furniture from this merchant last summer on a six months interest free plan. Unfortunately and because I am unemployed I was late with the last 2 payments which totaled $207.00. This merchant did not contact me to inform me I was late in payments. They obtained my checking account number from a check I had given them for payment purposes, and posted an unauthorized charge of $633.76 on my account on May 11. This caused a dramatic overdraft as I only had a few dollars left. I contacted the bank, disputed the charge and placed a stop payment. I informed this merchant in writing and personally offering once again to pay the $207.00 balance in cash and arrange an installment plan for the remaining interests. The manager (Nancy Miranda) said she would speak to the mysterious "owner" whose face I have never seen so far and get back to me. When I called her she said she did not have a resolution yet. On May 18 they went ahead and posted another charge for $633.76 and and additional $30.00 fee for the return of the first transaction under a different corporate name! I disputed the charges again, filed another claim, sent them another letter, and filed a claim at the BBB against this merchant. This merchant is abusive, unethical and have demonstrated they will do anything (even if it's fraud) to get what they want and to intimidate consumers. I addition to the mediocre service they provide, and the cheap merchandise they sell, they have no scruples, no business ethics and seem to enjoy harassing and abusing customers. To this day I have not seen the so called owner not even once. I am starting to doubt he exists. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from these people! They are scammers, they sell really "affordable" mattressess, THEY ARE REFURBISHED, NOT NEW!!! Yes! I fell for it, bought a KING mattress that 10 months later is NO GOOD. They do not deliver when they say they will, the merchandise will arrive late and damaged... DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from ROOMS 4 LESS in S Orange Blossom Trail Orlando Florida. They will sacm you, sell you cheap merchandise and then rip you off, they will "garnish" your assestts or accounts just to screw you. The Manager is Nancy Miranda, the owner??? Who knows, some arrogant Brithish bastard who thinks he can get away with FRAUD. NOT IN THE US MATE!!! Maybe it works in your country buddy but not in USA.
