On 10/20, I ordered cartons of cigarettes from DISCOUNT cheap cigarettes.com online (first time using said site) in the amount of $342.00 with "free shipping" to anywhere. Payment was made through my personal checking account (debit) via "Yeepay" confirming my payment. On 10/21, I received an email from the merchant stating that there was a "technology" problem and that the transaction did not go through and that I needed to reorder again. I then reordered in the same amount and a confirmation of payment went through. On 10/25, upon checking my checking account, I noticed that the first transaction made went through and was paid to merchant in the amount of $344.15. I sent and email to the merchant about the amount and why were they paid for the first transaction when I was informed that the transaction "failed". I then received an email days later from the merchant asking me to send them the transaction number for the first order I made that the merchant stated did not go through which I did. Then on 10/26, I again checked my checking account and was debited by the merchant in the amount of $345.23 for the second transaction I made. I have sent them several more emails, but I have not received any response back. I have since contacted my bank and was told that the merchant received both payments and I filed a "dispute" with my bank in regards to the transactions made. I feel that the merchant "scammed" me and I hope to get my money back.
