Credit Card payment was due on 10/02/04. My payments are electronically transfered on the 1st of the month from my checking account to GE CARDCO. Received next billing statement and late fee of $20.00 was charge to my account. The post date on the payment was 10/04/04 allowing them to charge late fee although it was electronically transfered to them on 10/01/04.
I disputed the late fee and sent proof from my bank they had their money on the 1st. They refused to refund the late fee because the payment wasn't posted until the 4th. But you got your money on the 1st, you idiot!!!
It's no use customer service are robots and have no answers. All they say is payment was late. Never will I do business with a merchant whose credit services go through GE CARDCO.
