Syndicate Management, Jeremy Smith ignored sexual harrassment and accepted it

Like most people on this site i too found the company scentura creations to be the business that made me feel sceptical. During my first week of work i found the following things out that made me feel even more uncomfortable with the whole idea
1. The company was unable to provide an email or business cards
2. The company paid everyone in cash never a check
3. Your pay was based on attitude.
4. You were expected to work 8:30-6 and then work late cars 6 till 1am

All of this just seemed weird and so when i asked questions about them not one person was able to answer them or theyd say it was classified information. All of that aside... What bothered me most was that 75 percent of the staff were ex-inmates... Some of them still on parol.

I chose to finish the week and come back the next Monday. That was the second biggest mistake i made. Everyone gets sent out in groups of 4 to pitch businesses. One of the men i was sent with was constantly calling his parol officer. It was all just so weird. But that was nothing compared to what he did near the end of the day. The guy pulled me aside and said the following "compared to my girlfriend your a mercedes and shes a camry... Sometimes when im f*king her i pretend im f*king you." to say this alarmed me would be an understatement.

Immediately upon return to the office i told a few people. Jeremy theowner was not there that day so i didnt have the opportunity to tell him.
Tuesday morning immidiately upon returning to work i pulled Jeremy aside and explained what happened. He really showed no sympathy and didnt seem to care at all. He called the regional office and brifely explained what ahppened. They just wanted to know who brought in more profit. I was disgusted at this point. After several hours of discussion jeremy approached me and said that what the guy had done was minor flirting and that they would not fire him. I was furious. He then said that if i refused to work with the guy then it was nice knowing me... Theres the door.

I left and cried the whole way home. How could a company accept such horrid behaviour?

A word of advice to those who are considering taking the job or are already working... Get out while you can
