They took our money and we don't know who they are

I check our accounts daily as we live paycheck to paycheck and don't have extra money to be stolen. I noticed that there was a 29.95 charge that I couldn't put a reciept to and tried to call the number they listed but just a machine and no person. I then went to the bank and reported the problem only have to have them give me a hard time as well. So I told them my debit card was missing and had them close out those numbers. I almost think banks are in on the scams since they won't help you get your money back.
