So, these people call me incessantly for like 3 days like 4 times a day, finally I answer my phone, which is my cell phone so I am wasting precious minutes on these people, and they promise me a watch (which i never got) and a package with the details of my order (which I also never got) and because of their fast talking I hear that I will pay 2 payments of 39.88 and get 2 years of 4 magazine subscriptions but it was actually 10 monthly payment of 39.88 that is like 400 dollars! For magazines!
They are also offering me all these "free" things and "trial" offers which I am trying to say no to and every time I say no they just ask me again in a different way... So I agreed to the magazines and just the magazines, they didn't mention the 2 week cancellation period or a phone number I could reach them at... WEll two weeks later I recieve magazines, one of them I didn't want and a package with some "authentic" quarters which cost me 30 dollars to my debit card!
So I cancelled the coins and got my money back, then I tried to cancel the magazines but they said that it was too late! That it was past the two week cancellation period! So now I am going to try to get my bank to block the payments to them, because I am in college, I need that $400 to live, I don't need magazines! If someone has any suggestions, please let me know, I am so angry! And my advice to anyone who gets calls from companies like this, hang up and/or tell them not to call you.
